Fragment of a relief with a male figure holding an amphora in an Isis procession

The figure is seen hugging a large vessel in both arms. Head and body are draped in a mantle, while the hands are barely visible. An ancient relief served as the model for this depiction of a priest in the Egyptian cult of Isis. Executed in hesitant strokes lacking in fluency, the drawing is evidently the work of a pupil learning the craft.
