Album 1, Leaf 20

The two horizontal drawings were too long to fit entirely face-up in the album and therefore had to be folded in on one end. They both show a Victoria frieze in the Palazzetto Massimo istoriato in Rome (also known, thanks to its columns, as Palazzo Massimo alle Colonne), which the Massimo family of modern Rome had built in the 1530s.
